Fatima Hospital Fitness and Wellness Program

Tuesday, April 28, 2009

Now employees at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital have a brand new perk. On April 23rd SCULPT’s President and CEO, Andre Correa announced that SCULPT would start a fitness and wellness program at the Hospital. This is the first Fitness and Wellness program ever available at the North Providence Hospital.

The SCULPT FITNESS AND WELLNESS PROGRAM was the result of Correa’s and the Director of Human Resources Joseph D’Alessandro’s efforts to bring fitness into the work place for all Fatima Hospital employees.

Correa thinks that this will be a new trend on local hospitals. “The Hospital work environment is unforgiving. Stress, poor diet and lack of proper rest can impact performance. I think other hospitals and business that depend on the performance of their staff will adopt this on-site approach to fitness” said Correa.

The SCULPT FITNESS AND WELLNESS PROGRAM is available today for a nominal fee and it will offer Fatima Hospital Employees many new benefits like Access to the SCULPT STUDIO, two introductory one-on-one personal training sessions, special pricing on the SCULPT retail store in addition to on-site fitness classes and WORKSHOPS.

The SCULPT PERSONAL TRAINING SYSTEM: DEFINED

Monday, April 27, 2009

Since its inception in 2004, SCULPT has been delivering life-altering results to clients who wish to become healthier, leaner and stronger. These results have been achieved by utilizing training programs based on exercise science, nutrition and the continuous monitoring of our clients prog¬ress in order to provide motivation and support. Over the years SCULPT TRAINERS observed and recorded essential data in determining which training regimens worked best. Recently, these observations were formally established as the SCULPT TRAINING SYSTEM.

THE SCULPT TRAINING SYSTEM can be de¬fined by three distinctive cores of principles: The Adaptive Training Core for exercise, the Nutrition Optimization Core for nutrition and the Dual Ac¬countability Core for program adherence. Each core addresses a specific component of a client’s program development. SCULPT TRAINERS use all three cores when designing programs for their clients. That way, all components of the SCULPT TRAINING SYSTEM are present in all our fitness programs and customization can made based on each client’s goals and needs.

The end result is a fitness program that is unique to each client despite the fact that the same three cores are used. For instance, the Adaptive Train¬ing Core, the exercise component of the SCULPT TRAINING SYSTEM, can be used to create an exercise program for any client.

This is true because the core allows SCULPT TRAINERS to create regimens specifically designed to a client’s age, needs, past injuries, goals, and fitness level. The Adap¬tive Training Core contains training protocols that ad¬dress all of the key factors mentioned. So even though everyone’s program is de¬signed using the Adaptive Training Core, the way train¬ers use it varies greatly for each client. The same varia¬tion applies to the other two cores.

Arguably the best feature of the SCULPT TRAINING SYSTEM is that you as a client don’t have to worry about its cores or remember how they work in order for your fitness pro¬gram to be successful. Your SCULPT TRAINER will use the SCULPT TRAINING SYSTEM to develop your program and show you the benefits of this innovative new way to do personal training.
