SCULPT concepts are basic modules of the SCULPT TRAINING SYSTEM that are available to anyone who wants to be leaner, healthier and stronger. These concepts will help you maximize your training efforts and give you better results. SCULPT CONCEPT ONE | WEIGHTS BEFORE CARDIO

Do weights before cardiovascular training so that you can reserve your energy for lifting. Then top off your training session with 30 minutes of your favorite cardiovascular exercise. You’ll build more lean muscle and burn more fat this way.


SCULPT CONCEPT TWO | EAT MORE OFTEN AND CONTROL PORTION SIZE

Eat more often and control portion sizes to increase your metabolic rate and minimize fat deposits. More frequent meals can increase your calorie burning potential by about 10% and controlling your portions will help keep your insulin level stable so it will be less likely your meal will be stored as fat.


SCULPT CONCEPT THREE | WRITE YOUR WORKOUTS DOWN

Write your workouts down so that you can review them later and hold yourself accountable. Some days you will do better than others. Studies have shown that keeping an accountability log on paper can make you more consistent and able to achieve better results.


SCULPT CONCEPT FOUR | ONLY STRETCH WARM MUSCLES

Only stretch warm muscles to prevent injury and increase joint range of motion. Before you begin your stretching routine hit the treadmill or the elliptical trainer for about 10 minutes to increase your body’s temperature. Then begin your stretching routine. 


SCULPT CONCEPT FIVE | PRE-PLAN ALL YOUR MEALS

Pre-plan all your meals to ensure your caloric intake stays within acceptable ranges. It is almost impossible to account for meals you have in restaurants and fast food places. This is especially important for those who want to become leaner. Exercise will make you stronger and give you more endurance but only energy control will make you leaner. Preplanned meals are the easiest way to manage your caloric intake and lose body fat.


SCULPT CONCEPT SIX | GET ENOUGH SLEEP EACH NIGHT

Get enough sleep each night to recover from hard training sessions. Proper recovery is a big part of changing your body. Not sleeping enough will slow your progress down and make it harder for you to perform well during your future sessions.
